We provide independent engineering inspection services across a range of equipment and industries, helping businesses maintain safe operations and meet their legal obligations.

LOLER Examinations 

We carry out Thorough Examinations on lifting equipment, accessories and attachments in accordance with Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER), ensuring equipment is safe for continued use and defects are clearly identified.

We examine a range of items including, but not limited to:

  • Forklift trucks, telescopic handlers and order pickers

  • Stacker trucks, manual material lifts and high-rise pallet trucks

  • Scissor lifts, tail lifts and MEWPs

  • Vehicle lifts and lifting jacks

  • Chain blocks, lever hoists and runway tracks

  • Slings, shackles, eyebolts and other lifting accessories 

  • Overhead cranes, jib cranes and loader cranes, 

  • Passenger lifts, goods lifts and platform lifts

  • Stairlifts, patient hoists and patient slings

  • Tractors (with front loader or backhoe attachments)

  • Excavators (used for lifting operations)​

PUWER Inspections

We provide inspections in line with Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), ensuring work equipment is safe, suitable for use and properly maintained.

We offer inspections on a range of equipment including:

  • Manual and powered pallet trucks (non-lifting)

  • Storage racking systems 

  • Dock levellers

  • Axle stands, engine support beams and bearing presses

  • Vehicle loading ramps and sliding bed systems

  • Tractors (non-lifting use only) and site dumpers​

  • Excavators (non-lifting use only)

PSSR Examinations 

We carry out thorough examinations on pressure systems in accordance with written schemes of examination as required under Pressure System Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR).​

We examine pressure systems and create written schemes for the following equipment:

  • Air receivers

  • Air/oil separator vessels

  • Bead seaters

  • Desiccant dryers

  • Expansion vessels

  • Self-generating dental autoclaves

  • Associated pipework (where applicable)

  • Safety valves and system protection devices​

Additional Inspection Services

We also provide additional inspection services in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, including requirements under the Work at Height Regulations 2005 (WAHR) and Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 1992 (PPER).

Additional inspection services include:

  • Fall arrest blocks and energy-absorbing lanyards 

  • Safety harnesses and restraint/positioning lanyards

  • Step ladders, extension/telescopic ladders and fixed ladders

  • Mobile steps, height adjustable platforms and kick stools

  • Playgrounds and play equipment ​
